Children and Youth People's Ministry
Children and Young People are critical to the future of our church and we offer a warm welcome in Ringmer.
First Sunday from 10 is our way of worshipping through song, actions and activities. Come from 10am on the First Sunday of the month, join in and stay for coffee and biscuits too.
St Mary’s Toddlers provides a weekly fun space for babies and pre-school children with their parents, grandparents and carers to come together to play. Open most Wednesdays throughout the year, 10.30-12.00 in Ringmer Village Hall, admission is free but donations are welcome. You’ll be welcomed with a smile and a hot drink.
Our Authorised Lay Minister is a regular visitor to the Tiddlers & Toddlers group in Ringmer Village Hall. This parent-led group has been running for nearly 40 years and provides essential support for parents and carers.
Our connections with schools and community groups in Ringmer are an essential part of our ministry. Revd David is a regular at Ringmer Primary & Nursery School, and we offer support to Kings Academy Ringmer and music and volunteering opportunities to young people. If your children attend any of the uniformed groups, they will be invited to a Parade Service every 4 months or so where we give thanks for their groups and leaders.
Ringmer Sings Youth was a fun afternoon of singing late in 2023 and something we’d love to repeat. Young people are always welcome to join
bell ringers and the
choir. With weekly practices, you’ll quickly become part of the team.
We run the occasional themed fun time during the school holidays and work alongside Ringmer Baptist Church – you’ll find out more in Ringmer
Church & Village News and keep an eye on our
Facebook page.
